For Compliance Officers ·
What you'll accomplish
You'll use ChatGPT to systematically produce compliance training modules — with learning objectives, plain-language regulatory explanations, realistic scenarios, and quizzes — in 20–30 minutes instead of the 3–5 hours it takes to build them from scratch. This approach works for both annual refreshes and new-regulation briefings.
What you'll need
Use this template to get consistent output every time:
Create a compliance training module with these specifications:
- Topic: [TOPIC]
- Audience: [STAFF ROLE, e.g., "bank tellers", "loan officers"]
- Duration: [LENGTH, e.g., "20-minute online module" or "1-hour classroom session"]
- Format: Include: (1) 3 learning objectives, (2) a plain-language explanation of the regulatory requirement, (3) 3 realistic workplace scenarios with the correct response, (4) 5 multiple-choice quiz questions with answer keys and explanations, (5) a key takeaway summary employees can keep.
- Tone: Practical and direct — assume staff have no legal background.
For each training module, ask for additional scenario variations: "Give me 3 more scenarios for this BSA training — one for a cash-intensive business customer, one for a student account, and one for a new small business account."
After the full module, ask: "Create a wallet-size quick reference card for this training — the 5 most important things an employee needs to remember from this module. Bullet points only, plain language."
This becomes the leave-behind employees actually keep.
For BSA/AML training:
Create a BSA awareness training module for [staff role]. Focus on: identifying red flags, internal reporting procedures, and why it matters. 3 scenarios, 5 quiz questions.
For consumer compliance training:
Create a training module for [staff role] on [regulation, e.g., Reg E or TILA]. Focus on: what the regulation requires, what staff must do when customers ask about it, and common compliance mistakes. 3 scenarios, 5 quiz questions.
For new regulation briefing:
Create a 15-minute briefing module for [staff role] on the key changes from [new rule]. What's new, what they need to do differently starting [effective date], and 3 quiz questions to confirm understanding.
